A huge blast partially damaged the wall of the district office of Communication and Works (C&W) department on Monday. Police said the explosive device, planted near boundary wall of the building, exploded with a loud bang and heard in almost all parts of the district. No one was hurt. However, the blast shattered the windowpanes of the building. Police has cordoned off the area.
